Dhabaleswar K. (DK) Panda is a professor and university distinguished scholar of computer science and engineering at Ohio State University. His research group developed the MVAPICH2 (high-performance MPI over InfiniBand, iWARP, and RoCE) open source software package that's used by nearly 3,000 organizations worldwide in 86 countries. This software, which put several InfiniBand clusters into the Top 500 ranking over the last decade, has been downloaded more than 493,000 times from the project's website. D.K. has published over 450 papers in major journals and international conferences. He is an IEEE Fellow and a member of the ACM.
